Meeting at the Istanbul International Airport. Transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to spend in Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
The itinerary for the day will commence with breakfast, followed by a city tour for the entirety of the day. In the morning, we will embark on a visit to Hagia Sophia, an iconic and architecturally exceptional location in Istanbul that we offer to visitors. It is recognized as one of the most massive and imposing churches in the world and was recently converted into a mosque. Next, we will explore Topkapi Palace, the residence of the sultans from 1478 to 1856. The palace is not a singular structure, but rather an organic monumental complex comprised of various bandstands, gardens, and areas situated in a historical district/center located at the entrance of the Horn/Horn of Ouro, a location named after its geographical formation. Our tour will continue to the Blue Mosque, which is famous for its six minarets, terraces, and domes that rise at the center of the building. The architect's objective was undoubtedly achieved, as evidenced by the flawless and impressive work. In the afternoon, we will visit the Roman Hippodrome, which dates back to the era of the Roman Emperor Severus Septimus. It was a location where races and circuses were held, providing entertainment to the inhabitants of Constantinople for over a millennium. Finally, the day will conclude with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, where visitors can enjoy some free time. Upon completion of the tour, we will provide transfer services to the hotel for accommodation. Meal: Breakfast
The itinerary for the day will begin with breakfast, followed by an early departure to the airport to catch the flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, we will visit the Saruhan Caravanserai, which was built in the 12th century as an inn for commercial caravans. Later in the afternoon, we will proceed with a visit to the Zelve Valley, where both Muslims and Christians lived together until 1924. During the trip, we will pass through the Devrent Valley and observe the Fairy Chimneys formations. Upon arrival in the ancient city of Ortahisar, we will proceed to the hotel for accommodation in Cappadocia. Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, a full-day excursion will be conducted. We will begin with a visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, where we will observe several churches built into the rocks, featuring interior frescoes. Next, we will visit the ancient city of Uchisar, followed by a trip through the Pigeon Valley. Then, we will visit the natural mushroom-shaped structures of Paşabağ or Valley of the Monks. Subsequently, we will continue to Avanos, the city of potters. In the afternoon, we will explore the impressive underground city of Serhatlı or Özkonak, consisting of multiple levels of depth. This site was utilized by early Christians as a refuge from enemies during the 6th and 7th centuries. Finally, we will visit a carpet factory to observe the weaving process of Turkish rugs, renowned worldwide. We will also visit a local jewelry store famous for its pieces made from onyx stone. Upon completion of the tour, we will return to the hotel for accommodation in Cappadocia. Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, we will depart for Aksaray and proceed along the Silk Road. Our first stop will be the Sultanhan Caravanserai, an inn that served as a camping site for camel caravans. We will then continue to Konya, which was the capital of the Seljuk Empire during the 12th century. During our visit, we will explore the Monastery of the Dancing Dervishes, founded by Mevlana, the mystic philosopher. Afterwards, we will head to Pamukkale, where we will arrive and transfer to the hotel for overnight accommodation. Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, we will embark on a tour of Pamukkale, also known as the "Cotton Castle", renowned for its white waterfalls. Here, we will witness the natural pools of Travertine, formed by large hot springs. Following this, we will visit Hierapolis, an ancient city of the kingdom of Phrygia that was converted into an episcopal center during the Byzantine period. After the tour, we will head to Kuşadası and make a stop at the house of the Virgin Mary, where she spent her last years. During the trip, we will also attend a fashion show displaying beautiful local leather products. Our next destination will be Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city in Asia Minor with a population of 250,000 during the first and second centuries. We will visit several historical sites in Ephesus, including Hadrian's Temple, the Roman Baths, the Celsus Library, and the Odeon, a theater with a seating capacity of 24,500 spectators. Finally, we will transfer to our hotel in Kuşadası for overnight accommodation. Meal: Breakfast
Enjoy a fulfilling morning with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a scenic journey to Fethiye. Along the way, we will make a brief stop at Didima to visit the Temple of Apollo, an esteemed ancient oracle second only to Delphi. A delectable lunch will be served before we proceed to Stratonikeia, a city of great historical significance in the region. Sadly, there is a risk of this city disappearing due to the proposed installation of a coal mine. Our journey culminates in Fethiye, renowned as the summer resort of Turkish towns, boasting a plethora of unspoiled coves. We will transfer you to your hotel, ensuring that your journey is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Meals: Breakfast
Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast before embarking on a scenic coastal journey along the Lycian route. Our first stop is the picturesque ruins of Tlos, a paradisiacal city steeped in Pegasus and Bellerophon mythology, located approximately 50 km away. We will then continue our journey through the charming town of Kas (Antiphellos) and arrive at Myra, the place where Bishop Saint Nicholas, famously known as Santa Claus, once lived. During our visit, we will explore his church and tomb, which served as his resting place before most of his remains were transferred to Bari, Italy. Our tour will also include a visit to Myra's theater and stone tombs. After a delightful lunch, we will continue our journey to Phaselis, one of the most exquisite cities on the Mediterranean coast. It was once a favorite winter destination for Alexander the Great to rest and rejuvenate. We will conclude our journey by settling into our accommodation for the night in Antalya. Meal: Breakfast
Begin your day with a delectable breakfast before embarking on a visit to Perge, one of the prominent capitals of the Pamphylia region. Be amazed by its monumental gateway to the theater and stadium, truly a sight to behold. Our tour will take us to explore the theater, street column, and Agora, each offering a glimpse into the region's rich history. Next, we will proceed to Aspendos, where we will visit the city's renowned antic theater. Considered the best-preserved theater in the entire Mediterranean from Roman times, it is a testament to the incredible craftsmanship and architectural prowess of the era. After a fascinating day of exploring the ancient wonders of the region, we will return to Antalya to settle into our accommodation for the night. Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a full-day Bosphorus tour. In the morning, we will visit the Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the Spice Bazaar. Built in the 17th century, this vibrant marketplace is located in the historic district of Eminönü in Istanbul, offering a fascinating insight into the city's culture and heritage. We will continue the tour with a boat ride along the Sea of Marmara, allowing you to admire the breathtaking sights on both sides of the city - Asian and European. Along the way, you will witness remarkable landmarks such as Dolmabahce Palace, Çiragan, and the fortress of Rumeli Hisarı. Our next stop will be the stunning Beylerbeyi Palace, built in white marble by Sultan Abdulaziz in the 19th century. This site served as a summer residence for subsequent sultans and a guest house for foreign dignitaries, offering a glimpse into the opulence and grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. Finally, we will climb up to Çamlica Hill, also known as the Hill of Lovers, where you can enjoy a majestic panoramic view of the Bosphorus Strait, a perfect way to end the tour.After an exhilarating day of exploring the city's most iconic landmarks, we will transfer you back to your hotel for a comfortable and relaxing evening.
