Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will receive assistance at the airport and be transferred to your chosen hotel for accommodation
The day will begin with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a free day for leisure activities. For those interested, there is an optional full-day city tour available, which is called the Imperial City Tour. The tour will commence with a visit to Hagia Sophia, an impressive architectural marvel and one of the most significant places in Istanbul. Following this, we will proceed to Topkapı Palace, a grand and expansive complex where the Sultans resided from 1478 to 1856. Next, we will visit the Blue Mosque, known for its six minarets, domes, and terraces that create a magnificent spectacle. In the afternoon, we will visit the Roman Hippodrome, which was used for races and circuses for over a thousand years. Finally, the tour will conclude at the Grand Bazaar. At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to the hotel. Meal: Breakfast
The day will start with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a full-day Bosphorus tour. In the morning, we will visit the Egyptian Bazaar or Spice Bazaar, which was constructed in the 17th century and is located in the old district of Eminönü in Istanbul. Later, we will take a boat tour along the Bosphorus (regular boat), which will cover both the Asian and European sides of the city and travel along the Sea of Marmara. During this tour, we will be able to admire various notable monuments such as Dolmabahce Palaces, Çiragan, and the fortress of Rumeli Hisarı. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to Istanbul airport for a flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to the selected hotel for accommodation. Meals: Breakfast, dinner
After breakfast, there is an optional visit available for a balloon ride (price to be confirmed). Following this, the full-day tour will begin. Firstly, we will visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, which features some rock-cut churches with impressive frescoes inside. Next, we will visit the ancient city of Uçhisar and then proceed to the Pigeon Valley. We will also visit the Pasabağ Valley, also known as the Valley of the Monks, which is famous for its mushroom-shaped "fairy chimneys." The tour will continue in the village of Avanos, known for its pottery. In the afternoon, we will visit the underground city of Serhatlı (or Özkonak), which is several levels deep and was used by early Christians as a refuge from enemies during the 6th and 7th centuries. Finally, we will visit a carpet factory to observe how traditional Turkish carpets are woven and a local jewelry store. Later, we will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. After breakfast, we will depart for Antalya, continuing on the Silk Road. On the way, we will visit the Sultanhan Caravansarai, which is an ancient inn where camel caravans used to stop. Upon arrival in Antalya, we will proceed to dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast, dinner
After breakfast, we will embark on a tour of the historic center of the city. During the tour, we will visit several places including the Archaeological Museum, the Roman wall, Hadrian's Gate, the Clock Tower and the large circular tower. We will also make our way through the Market to reach the charming port, which was once a base for the Crusader Knights. The afternoon will be free for you to explore the city on their own. We will then return to the hotel for accommodation. Meal: Breakfast
After having breakfast, the tour will begin with a visit to Perge, an ancient Greco-Roman city known for its magnificent reliefs that depict the story of the god Dionysus. Next, the group will head to Side, an ancient Hellenistic port city, where they will see the temples of Apollo and Athena, the agora, the necropolis, the theater, and the restored Roman baths which now house one of the best archaeological collections in Türkiye. In the afternoon, the group will visit Aspendos, which boasts a 2nd-century masterpiece theater, built under the command of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, considered one of the most impressive and best-preserved theaters in all of Asia Minor. The Kurşunlu Waterfalls will also be visited during the tour. Finally, the group will return to Antalya and spend the night at the hotel. Meal: Breakfast
The day will begin with a visit to the Karain cave, followed by a trip to the city of Termessos. This city, which was part of the kingdom of Pisidia, experienced a period of prosperity during the 2nd and 3rd centuries under the Roman Empire. The city, located amidst mountains, is sure to captivate you with its ancient ruins. After the tour, we will return to the entrance of the National Park. In the afternoon, we will visit the ancient Roman port city of Phaselis, which is situated within a coniferous forest and has preserved its ancient beauty. At dusk, we will explore Olimpos and Chimera. The day will conclude with our arrival at the hotel in Phaselis, where we will spend the night. Meal: Breakfast
The day will begin with an early departure after breakfast to Myra, one of the most significant towns in the Lycian confederation. Although most of the city remains buried, its necropolis and Roman theater are among the most visited and beautiful places in the ancient kingdom of Lycia. Next, we will travel to Derme, where a visit to the Church of Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) is a must. The church was founded in the 4th century and has been expanded and restored multiple times. From there, we will head to the coast to board a small boat that will take us to the ancient Castle of Simena. Finally, we will make our way to Kaş (formerly Antiphellos), a popular tourist resort town. Upon arrival, we will drop off our bags at the hotel and enjoy some free time to explore the town's typical streets, which are filled with shops, restaurants, and remnants of the Lycian civilization. The day will start with breakfast followed by an early departure to Ksantos, one of the most important archaeological sites in Türkiye and the ancient capital of the Lycian federation. After exploring the site, we will travel to Pinara, an ancient Lycian city that has never been excavated despite being one of the most developed cities in the region. Next, we will continue to the Saklikent Gorge, a narrow and deep natural crevice carved by the waters in the limestone rock. In the afternoon, we will head to Fethiye (Telmessos) to visit its main historical attraction, the temple tombs, including the Tomb of Amyntas. Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast we will depart to Dalyan, a small and beautiful town that borders the lake of the same name, joined to the Mediterranean Sea by a natural channel. Here we'll board a speedboat and travel along the canal towards Kaunos, an interesting archaeological site from Roman times where we'll explore its nymphaeum, agora, gallery, theater, etc. At the end of the visit, we will take the boat again to return to Dalyan. In the afternoon, we will head to Dalaman airport to take a flight to Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul, private transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Meal: Breakfast
