Arrival at Narita International Airport. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Rest of the day at leisure to recover from your flight. Overnight in Tokyo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby at 08:30. Guided tour including Tokyo Tower for panoramic city views, Asakusa Kannon Temple (Senso-ji), the colorful Nakamise Shopping Street, and a panoramic coach tour through the city's highlights. Overnight in Tokyo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to explore Tokyo independently, or join an optional excursion to Nikko featuring the ornate Toshogu Shrine, scenic Irohazaka Road, beautiful Lake Chuzenji, and the impressive Kegon Waterfall. Overnight in Tokyo.

Breakfast and departure for Hakone. Lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy a mini-cruise on Lake Ashi with stunning Mt. Fuji views (weather permitting) and ride the Komagatake Ropeway for panoramic mountain scenery. Alternative visits arranged in case of weather conditions. Overnight in Hakone area.

Transfer to Odawara station and continue by train/coach connection via Nagoya toward Takayama in the Japanese Alps. Arrive in Takayama, a beautifully preserved Edo-period town known for its wooden merchants' houses and sake breweries. Overnight in Takayama.

Departure to Shirakawago, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its traditional Gassho-zukuri farmhouses with steep thatched roofs. Visit a traditional house to learn about rural Japanese life. Continue to Kanazawa with lunch at a local restaurant. City tour including the stunning Kenrokuen Garden (one of Japan's top three gardens), bustling Omicho Market, atmospheric Higashi Chaya Geisha District, and the historic Nagamachi Samurai District with the Nomura Samurai Residence. Overnight in Kanazawa.

Transfer to the station and travel to Osaka by Limited Express train. Arrival and check-in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore Osaka independently. Overnight in Osaka.

Visit the Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden Observatory for spectacular 360-degree city views. Continue to the vibrant Dotonbori area, famous for its neon lights, giant signs, and incredible street food scene. Free time to explore and taste local specialties like takoyaki and okonomiyaki. Breakfast and departure by coach to the southern Kii Peninsula, one of Japan's most sacred and scenic regions. Arrival at Kawayu Onsen, a unique hot spring village where the river itself becomes a natural hot bath. Enjoy onsen time at your traditional ryokan. Dinner featuring local specialties served at the ryokan. Overnight in Kawayu Onsen (Ryokan).

Travel by road to the sacred Kumano area, heart of Japan's ancient mountain worship. Lunch at a local restaurant. Walk part of the historic Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route (approximately 60 minutes / 3 km), following the footsteps of emperors and pilgrims for over 1,000 years. Visit Kumano Hongu Taisha, one of the three grand Kumano shrines, and the impressive Oyunohara, site of the world's largest torii gate. Continue to the sacred Buddhist mountain of Koyasan. Check-in at a Shukubo (temple lodging) and experience a traditional vegetarian dinner (Shojin Ryori). Overnight in Koyasan.

Optional early morning temple prayer service (highly recommended). Vegetarian breakfast at the temple. Explore Koyasan's atmospheric Okunoin cemetery with its moss-covered tombs and towering cedars. Transfer to Shin-Osaka station and continue by Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima. Check-in at your hotel. Overnight in Hiroshima.

Visit the deeply moving Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, including the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome. Then ferry to nearby Miyajima Island, considered one of Japan's three most scenic views. Visit the famous Itsukushima Shrine with its vermillion torii gate appearing to float on water at high tide. Free time to explore the island and its friendly deer. Return to Hiroshima. Overnight in Hiroshima.

Travel toward Himeji and visit the magnificent Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Japan's finest surviving feudal castle, known as the "White Heron" for its elegant white exterior. Continue to Kurashiki for lunch and sightseeing in the historic Bikan District, featuring picturesque canals lined with willow trees and white-walled warehouses. Visit the Ohashi Family Residence, a beautifully preserved merchant house. Continue to Kyoto and check-in. Overnight in Kyoto.
