Tour Plan
Arrival and assistance at Istanbul Airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul.
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day tour of the city. In the morning we will visit Hagia Sophia, the world's oldest basilica, which was erected in the fourth century by Constantine the Great and rebuilt in the sixth century by Justinian. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the renowned Topkapi Palace, the largest palace of the Ottoman Sultans, which was in use from the 15th to the 19th century Topkapi Palace is an organic monumental complex composed of various kiosks, gardens, and distributed areas located in the neighborhood of historic landmark ‘’the Golden Horn’’. The Blue Mosque, the most famous mosque in Istanbul will be our next stop. It is known for its blue tiles and 6 minarets. Lunch. We drive to the Hippodrome, which served as a hub of political and sporting events during the Roman and Byzantine Empires. The renowned historical Grand Bazaar, the first and oldest shopping complex in the world with more than 4.000 shops, will be our final stop. Return to hotel, overnight in Istanbul. Meals: Breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a full day on the Bosphorus. In the morning, we will go to the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Bazaar), which was built in the seventeenth century and is located in Istanbul's old Eminönü neighborhood. We continue on the boat tour of Bosphorus (regular boat), which runs along the Sea of Marmara on both Asian and European sides of the city. During this tour, you will see monuments such as The Palace of Dolmabahce, Çırağan, and The Rumeli Hisar Fortress, among others. We continue to the Beylerbeyi Palace, which was built as a summer residence for Ottoman Sultans. Lunch. We then climb to Çamlica Hill, also known as Lovers Hill. It offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Bosphorus and Istanbul. Return to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: Breakfast and lunch
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport to take an early flight to Kayseri (or Nevsehir). Transfer to Cappadocia region. Full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Open Air Museum in Goreme and the natural fortress in Uchisar. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries. The last sites will be Pasabag Valley and Avanos. End of the tour, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. Meals: Lunch and dinner.
You will be picked up from your hotel for a full day of tours in South Cappadocia. Starting your day with a visit to Kizilcukur, an isolated valley sitting behind Urgup which has some incredible rock formations which include the very famous rock carved Churches. Within this area, there are countless tracks, which connect the churches to small villages and towns winding through vineyards and gardens like spiders webs. It is a common site to come across villagers offering you locally grown produce such as grapes, apples and apricots with a warm welcome. Next, we move on to Cavusin, one of the oldest settlements in the area and situated 2km from Goreme on what is known as the Goreme – Avanos Road. In Cavusin, sits the iconic St John the Baptist Church offering panoramic views across the village. The stunning paintings within the Church date back to the 5th Century making it the oldest Church in the region. Unusually for Cappadocia, the church had a large courtyard, which was sadly eroded over time. Moving on, we will then explore the absolute treasure known as the Underground City. This is only one of forty found in Cappadocia and hard to image the work, which was put in to the construction of eight floors. Not all of the floors are open to the public. Finally, we visit Pigeon House, another amazing structure of pigeon houses and rock formations. End of the tour, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. Breakfast. At the decided time, transfer to the airport for taking flight to lzmir. Arrival and overnight in Kusadasi. Meals: Breakfast , Dinner
After breakfast, we will start a full-day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Visit the cotton cliffs in Pamukkale, one of the world's natural wondersformed by calcareous salt deposits. You will also see the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, including its basilica, theater, and Roman baths. Then, around 19:00, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, we will travel to the ancient city of Ephesus and visit its magnificent library, theater, and temples. Then we go to the House of the Virgin Mary and the San Juan Basilica. In the afternoon, live the experience of seeing a show of Turkish leather products. Transfer to the Izmir Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: Breakfast and lunch
